Entertainment agency network, Terry Hines & Associates (THA), has acquired Modern Logic, a design-driven creative content studio widely recognized for its work at the intersection of branding, culture, and entertainment. The acquisition significantly expands Terry Hines & Associates’ capabilities as a full-service marketing agency, offering clients access to creative strategy and execution across the marketing ecosystem. The studio joins a collective that includes digital and social agency Homebrew; out-of-home, print and digital production arm THA|Create; experiential shop MAKR; and sister agency The MRKT Co.—forming an end-to-end platform built to solve complex brand challenges with scale and precision.
“Modern Logic represents the creative excellence and cultural relevance we strive to deliver,” said Grant Nemirow, Chairman of THA, noting that Erica Coates will lead the studio as CEO, with Chief Growth Officer Michael Bennett and Chief Strategy Officer Allan Gungormez continuing in key leadership roles.
The move follows a standout run for Modern Logic, including a Grand Prix Titanium win at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for its collaboration with Wieden+Kennedy on DoorDash’s “DoorDash All The Ads,” one of the year’s most talked-about campaigns. The studio has since delivered high-profile work for Epic Games tied to the latest Fortnite launch, as well as the 11-minute branded short “Fruithead” for Gushers.
Coates called the deal a response to shifting client expectations. “Brands want nimble, specialized partners who understand their business and culture,” she said. “Together with THA’s depth across digital, experiential, print and PR, we’re uniquely positioned to deliver world-class work across every touchpoint.” Bennett added that the partnership gives Modern Logic added scale and resources while preserving its creative ambition—now amplified across the broader THA network.
